Description

Dionysus was the god of fertility and wine.

He is also a source of chaos. The maenads were his followers. They rampaged through the land, tearing people to pieces and eating them raw. His wine, music and ecstatic dance free his followers from self-conscious fear and care. He also subverts the oppressive restraints of the powerful.

Dionysus Materials:

This piece is 100% handmade from plate. Sections are laser cut and soldered together to make its hollowed, three-dimensional form.

Brass substrate is electroplated with sterling silver. The product is then dipped into acid to create the subtly destroyed effect.

No two products will be the same. These nuances should be seen as a characteristic of the product.
